~Simply Beautiful~

We were so blessed to be surrounded by these beautiful trees.

~Campfire~

We were very thankful for no rain the first night we were there...so we had a campfire.

Here is Mike getting the fire started.

Mommy and Aylah are discussing how proud we are of daddy for making such a great fire.

Our fabulous roasting stick that allowed us to roast 2 marshmallows at a time:)

Aylah's first smore, minus the chocolate.

Daddy and Aylah hanging out around the fire. Do you see her sweet little hand on his leg---she "wuvs" her daddy so much!

P.S. If you ever go camping and you decide that you do not want to finish eating your marshmallow, please throw it in the fire and not just on the ground. This will prevent anyone stepping in it and spending much wasted time digging sticky marshmallow out of a shoe!

~More Camping~

Daddy and Aylah walking down the trails.

Taking a break and enjoying God's beautiful nature!

Let's just say Aylah loves picnic tables, because where there is a picnic table...there is always food to follow.

Running to her mommy:)

Deep in thought.

Aylah was very proud of all the rocks she found and thought mommy needed one, so she is tossing it to me.

~Falling Leaves~

Aylah had a blast playing in the leaves. Her daddy would throw them up in the air and of course she would copy him and do the same!

~The Red Wagon~

I bought this wagon for Aylah at a garage sell this summer for $1.60. I'll have to say it has definitely been worth all 160 pennies, because this girl plays with it ALL the time, so we took it camping with us. She had a great time taking it on walks and collecting leaves, placing them carefully in the wagon, dumping them all out, and starting all over again.

~Camping~

Mike, Aylah and I went "camping" this week as a part of a gift from the church for pastor appreciation month! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the time together as a family. Get ready for a lot of pictures, because I just couldn't choose favorites.
Aylah is watching her daddy rock and she's trying to keep up.
We found a canoe and were about to take it out on the pond, but thankfully Mike found the hole in it before we got in.

Looking over the edge of the dock for some fish.

Taking her socks off, thinking if she does, we'll let her jump in.

Aylah would reach down and touch the leaves floating by and say, "I touch it".

Looking back at us to see if she is in trouble or if she was sneaky enough to get on the trampoline without us noticing.

Aylah found her way to the canoe too.

Daddy is showing her the leaves floating by.

Loving on her mommy at the end of the dock....a momma loves these moments!!!

~Singing with Daddy~

Aylah has always loved rocking with her daddy and listening to songs on the computer. Here she is singing her little heart out to the Doxology before bedtime.

Goodnight everyone!
