Isn't this picture totally appropriate for the time of year.

This is Mike and I carving pumpkins for the first time as a married couple. At this time, we were living in Fort Worth, Texas while Mike was attending seminary and I was teaching 2nd grade at Crowley. Boy am I glad those days are over (even though I enjoyed every second at the time) and now moved on to things like being a mommy!!!

The pumpkins turned out to look a little something like....

This is the year the Chicago White Sox won the World Series (we were there for that game)!

~Mom's Got Talent~

I can officially blow dry my hair and put my makeup on at the same time. If you think deeply about that-you'll realize that you usually use the same hand to do both (if you are right handed-you would use your right hand to blow dry your hair and your right hand to put your makeup on too). So to complete the 2 tasks at the same time, means that you are using both hands...and that my friends is a talent to me. That is only after having 1 child. Imagine the possibilities with more children.

So let's hear it. What talents do YOU have now that you are a mom?!?!
