Aylah loves playing with Aunt Lauren, especially when she lets her drive her car!

I wasn't really a big fan of letting Aylah dip her food into condiments, since it's so messy. But I guess if her mother sits there and does it over and over directly in front of her, that I should let her do the same. She's such a big girl you know, she insists on dipping too!

~Cheese~

Aylah has started picking up the camera, holding it to her face and saying "cheese". It's pretty cute if you ask me!

~Hello~

Aylah used her beads today as a telephone. I'm pretty sure she was trying to call her daddy and tell him how much she loves him!

Today we went to church and then to Meme and Papa's house for some play time!

Isn't this the cutest dress?!

Aylah had the best time today playing with her Papa and beads. Papa would throw the beads out of a cup into the air and make a funny sound and Aylah would crack up laughing. This went on for a long time!

~Way Out West~

Now we are way out in west Texas where it has been very windy! We are just thankful there has been no sand storms with the wind.

We spent our first day playing at Mcdonald's and at Meme and Papa's house!

Aylah crawled up the big kid playground and went down the twirly slide all by herself.

~Sam and Aylah~

We arrived in Texas and spent the first two days with Carrie and Sam. We also got to visit Nesa and her beautiful girls, Lily and Bella! For some silly reason, my camera has decided to not work, so please stop by and visit Carrie's blog for some adorable pics of these kids, while we were there! We had a great time and Aylah and I miss them all already-SO MUCH!!!

Don't worry! Sweet, sweet Carrie gave me her old camera to take with me on the rest of our trip, so we could capture all the moments! Thanks Carrie!

~Playing at the Park~

We went to the park yesterday and had a blast. This is the first time Aylah's been to the park and been able to walk. She really enjoyed it, especially swinging!

~One Lil' Monkey Jumping on the Bed~

Aylah usually wakes up and plays in her crib for awhile after a good nap. She can see her self in the vanity mirror acting like a lil' monkey and I'm sure this is what encourages the craziness!

I'm not quite sure what spurred this behavior on. 1.) she thought she saw her daddy drive by, or 2.) she thinks she conquered the world by learning to climb the ladder all by herself, and this is her way of celebrating! Either way, it was very adorable!

~More Please~

Aylah is doing a great job of trying to verbally communicate with us. However, it is a little frustrating when she knows what she wants and I just can't figure out what she is saying. Today, after thinking she had started saying "mommy" instead of "mama" now....I finally figured out she's saying "more please". Listen carefully and you too will hear it!

~Climbing~

Aylah figured out how to climb the little ladder on her slide today and she did a fantastic job, if I may say so myself!

~Gum Ball Collecting~

Aylah's new hobby, collecting gum balls that fall from the oak tree. She spends hours taking them in and out of her "bucket".

Why not throw a few in to the water bucket (that's a bathtub toy).

Good job Aylah. That's a great start to your collection!

~Jumping~

I'm not sure where Aylah learned this, but I've noticed she does it a lot when the kids sing:

The kids on the bus go "up and down" and they jump up and sit down in their seat...so I'm guessing this is where she got the great idea of jumping up and landing on her bottom:)

~Watching TV~

How cute is she laying on her belly, such the big girl!

~Dance Aylah Dance~

Aylah's favorite video at this time in her life, is Baby Einstein's "On The Go". It's basically about cars, planes, and trains. She really likes watching it and loves it when she can actually find them outside. I'm pretty sure her favorite part though, is the music considering these great dance moves you are about to see...

~Happy Anniversary~

Today was Stephanie and Stephen's 5th anniversary-and while I'd like to congratulate them...I'll have to say I was the lucky one today!

While they were out and about on a romantic anniversary date, I was home playing with this adorable little bear...

~Cake Balls~

I attempted Bakerella's cake balls for dessert this week, and while they may not be near as beautiful as hers, I'm quite sure they tasted as great! This things are delicious!!!

While I was focused on these delicious snacks and completely oblivious to the world around me, Aylah created her on snack...

~Leaves~

You wouldn't really think this would be the appropriate time to be raking and playing in the leaves. However, now that the snow has melted and hopefully there is no more in the forecast this year, we can get to all the leaves! Aylah didn't mind a bit-in fact-she said she was glad we left a few leaves so she could play in them in the spring and not just fall!

~Slide~

The Pearce family gave Aylah a slide this week, which she has spent hours upon hours on! She loves it. I tried to get a video of her saying "weeeeee" but was not successful!

~Michigan City~

We went to Michigan City last week to get some spring clothes for Aylah, since we are going to Texas next week and it will be oh so warm, and she has absolutely nothing with short sleeves in her closet! Aylah found herself some entertainment while we were there!

~Getting Serious~

We've had beautiful weather the this past week, but a few chilly days slip in and Aylah insists on wearing her sweet lil' pink bear outfit and stocking cap. She always brings them to me whenever she is ready to go "ou si"

~Coming Home~

Aylah loves to watch for her dada to come home from work. She gets so excited when she sees him and can spot him as soon as his car is in view. This video does not come close to capturing her excitement, but nonetheless, it's still sweet!

~Hug Pugs~

Aylah loves Hugs and Kisses, especially when they run around and play. They are a great source of entertainment in our house.

~Yoga~

Aylah looovvvvessss playing on the yoga ball! We bounce on it all the time and roll it back and forth to each other-she gets a kick out of it, especially when it knocks her down!

~Afternoon Fun~

Oh sweet Lukey! He is getting ready to crawl...and I just love that smile!

The rest of the afternoon was spent wrestling or chasing each other up and down the hallway. Aylah is always great with other kids, but this is the first time that she actually played "with" someone. Oh, my baby girl is growing up more each day!
