~Playing Around~

~Valentine Surprise~

Daddy came to pick us up from the airport when we arrived from Texas.  We came out of a different terminal than we were suppose to, so we missed him and had to wait in the baggage claim area until he found us.  When he did, he had a great big surprise for Aylah and she had a great big surprise for her daddy!

~Coming Home from Texas~

The girls and I had a great time in Texas, but it is always nice to come home and see daddy!
Aylah is calling her daddy to tell him we are on our way to the airport!
Stickers on the plane to keep Aylah occupied.
Aylah is reading a book to Grace.
Although the plane ride home was pretty easy, Grace fought sleeping.  She finally feel asleep for the last 45 minutes of the flight.
Daddy surprised Aylah with a fun Valentine bouquet and some goodies at the airport.

~Texas~

The girls and I took a long trip to Texas for 4 weeks during January and February.  We traveled to see Aunt Carrie, Aunt Becky, Papa T and Nana T, then Nanae and the rest of the crew in Midland!  It was a great time and we are so thankful we could spend so much time with our friends and family!
Grace loved crawling behind the table and pulling everything off the pantry at my mom's house.  She did this a dozen times a day, every day!  Of course, if she happened to get to eat everything as well, that was even better!

~Vroom Vroom~

Aylah loves pushing Grace around the house in the flinstones car.  Grace spends most of her time crawling in and out of the car, but she loves to be pushed as well.

~Little Diva~

If I can't find Grace, she is usually playing in her sister's room.  Either on the rocking chair or at the princess vanity.  She also likes to wear the headphones at any given time of the day.

~Foot Massage~

Grace has really enjoyed getting a foot massage.  She thinks it's pretty cool, especially when the lights come on.  This entertains her for quite some time.

~Rubber Band~

This was the first time I used a rubber band in Grace's hair.  She didn't like it at first, but I think I distracted her long enough that she forgot about.

~Stir Sticks~

I made this little fine motor skill activity for Grace a few months ago and she is really starting to play with it all the time.  She's quite good at getting the little stir sticks in the holes, to my surprise.  This is one of her favorite activities to do right now.  Hopefully, it will help her learn her colors too!

~Ring It~

Grace has had a great time with this little activity.  She takes the rings on and off, on and off, on and off and then finally puts them on her body like a bracelet, which she enjoys the most!

~Trampoline~

Aylah and Grace have had a great time playing on the trampoline, especially since we've been able to play outside so much earlier this year!
Resting.
Gracie, where's your belly?
Where's your toes?
Where's your head?
Are you so proud mom?  I know all my body parts!

~Artwork~

Aylah drew a picture of her grandma, please notice the star feet and the curly hair!

~Playing~

Grace absolutely loves to play dress up.  She found her sister's shorts and thought it was quite necessary to put, not one, not two, but three pair of shorts on all at once!
Aylah loves to play with her babies.

~Kite Flying~

Aylah picked out a great kite at the dollar store and spent all afternoon with her daddy flying a kite.  Of course, eventually, the kite did get caught in a tree but daddy saved the day!
Aylah loved flying her kite, she thought it was so cool!
Gracie is watching her sister fly the kite.
I love this picture of Grace studying her toes in the grass!  So sweet.

~Bird Feeder~

Aylah made a homemade bird feeder this week as one of our projects.
Putting peanut butter on a toilet paper roll.
Adding birdseed to the peanut butter.
Hanging the bird feeder outside, which unfortunately, has not had any birds eat of it to this date.

~Wagon Rides~

My girls absolutely love to be outside.  Aylah is so sweet, she went and got her little red wagon (which we purchased for $1.60 at a garage sale a few years ago) out so she could pull Gracie around all by herself!
