~Boys and Bows~

Caleb is always up for playing dress up with his sisters or grabbing their bows and trying them on.  He thinks he's pretty cute!
All boy, plus a bow!

Caleb usually smiles with his eyes closed.  It takes awhile to get a picture of him smiling with his eyes open.

~Brinley's Due Date~

Brinley's Due Date was today, October 7.  I never dreamed she would already be 10 days old on this day!  I am so thankful for such a cute, head bobbing, mama loving, hiccuping, pacifier loving, sleeping good, snuggling, bright eyed, super observant, sweet smiling, healthy and strong little precious baby girl!
Brinley, didn't sit up very well in the chair, so I had to lay her down.

Brinley is not very happy about posing in the chair for mama.   Look at those cute little toes!

~Baby Feet~

My friend Valerie and I were only days a part in our due date.  The church planned on having a double baby shower for us on September 27, so her and I planned a prego mama's night out.  We had a yummy dinner at Chili's and then went to get pedi's so we would have cute toes at the shower.  Plus, everyone needs cute toes when they deliver!  Not to mention, Valerie has never had a pedicure before, so it was a must!  I know no one wants to see my feet, but to remember those baby feet on my toes I had to take a pic.  I was really concerned that they wouldn't last until baby Brinley was born, but little did I know she was coming 3 days later!

~Bassinet~

Brinley's first time in the bassinet at 10 days old.  Of course I only left her there for an hour before I scooped her up and snuggled with her.

~Lil' Pumpkins~

This cute little pumpkin shirt  was given to Aylah from nana when she was 3 years old.  Here's grace wearing it now!

Grace, 4 1/2 years old.

Aylah when she was 3 1/2 years old.

~Too Big~

This cute gown is so sweet but way too big. 0-3 months will have to wait awhile!

~Sweet Gown~

My mom bought this sweet gown for Aylah when she was born.  Grace has worn it as well so it wouldn't be the same if little Miss Brinley didn't wear it.  Pour girl only has 1 bow since I didn't know we were having a girl so she has to wear it with all her outfits until I get some more.

Love those toes

~Tummy Time~

Brinley is so cute and tiny.  I love to see how small she is laying on the play mat.  Brinley actually rolled over from her tummy the first time I laid her down.  She has yet to do it again though.

~Brinley's First Walk~

Fall is here and we have to enjoy the warmest weather we can while it last.  We all headed out the door to take Brinley for her first walk.  Aylah was thrilled beyond words to push her in the stroller.  Brinley wasn't happy at first, but it didn't take long for her to fall asleep and enjoy the rest of the walk.

Brinley's first walk at 3 days old.

The kids were very excited to take their sister on a walk.

Brinley's 2nd walk at 4 days old.

Caleb, Brinley and I were home without the other girls so we took Brinley for a walk.  Then when she fell asleep, Caleb and I spent a much needed mommy son time cuddling in the swing.

~Pink Cigars~

The Beyer family came to visit us in the hospital and brought these fun pink cigars.  The kids had so much fun with them and thought they were pretty cool.  They were also special to me because I brought back memories of when my sisters were born.  I remember going to the gift shop after they were born and buying the pink cigars!

~We're Home~

As soon as we came home, Aylah begin reading book after book after book to her!  Grace thought it was pretty cool seeing her home and I'm assuming Caleb was off playing with his dump trucks somewhere.

Grace even played "Go to Sleep" for her on the piano.

~Coming Home~

One last snuggle with Brinley before we load her in the carseat.

Not so happy about the carseat.

Happier now that she is asleep and headed home.

Look carefully, you can see her little toes.

~The Name Draft~

Mike and I had talked about a few names before she was born, but we never settled on a name.  So the best way to choose a name is to have a name draft.

Our favorite names, just not sure which one we loved the most!

Every time I looked at that sweet baby and called her Brinley, I got all giddy inside and it just warmed my heart.  Mike liked the name as well so we decided on Brinley.  We have lots of nicknames in our family so a good name for a nickname was important and that is how we came up with her middle name!  Brinley Claire Bear!

~2 Days Old~

Brinley did great at the hospital and we loved being spoiled, but we were definitely ready to come home! Of course we couldn't leave the hospital without taking a few pictures of this sweet sweet baby!

Her little feet are pretty long!

~The Next Day~

~Baby Brinley's Arrival~

Baby Brinley had a due date of October 7, 2015, so when I went in to labor 10 days early, we were all quite surprised!  It's actually a beautiful story though, of how God answered our prayers and allowed us to have a natural delivery.  He revealed so many blessings to us this past weekend, it was so amazing to see the sovereignty and awesomeness of Him!

Little Miss Brinley came so unexpectedly and so quickly, we didn't even have our camera ready, so we don't have many pictures of her birth.  My labor started around 4 am, but I was in denial.  Around 5 am, I woke Mike up and said "I think it's time".  I very quickly was convinced it was real when I couldn't even walk to the bathroom, so we headed to the hospital around 80 mph!  Mike did a great job driving quickly!  30 minutes later, Brinley was born!

These are pictures a few hours later when the kiddo's came to visit and meet their sister for the first time!

We didn't know if Brinley was a girl or a boy, so the kids were really excited when they found out it was a girl.  Grandma told them early that morning and they all giggled, Aylah's eyes were even filled with tears!

Our first family of 6 photo.

The beginning of true love!  Aylah won't let her out of her sight!

Grace loves holding her.

Caleb thinks this is pretty cool!  He is so gentle with her.  The first thing he said when he came to the hospital was, "Mommy's big tummy go bye bye now"!
