~Hugs and Corn~

Taking Hugs for a walk.

We have a huge corn field by our house and we enjoy watching it grow all summer long. It's surprisingly super tall already for this time of year.

~Snakes~

Aylah found some mud in our backyard and decided to make some snakes. (While wearing leg warmers)
She's such a cute little grungy girl.

Waving bye to mom.

~Homemaker~

Aylah has really started to play "dress up" and "pretend" within the last few days or so. Today she had a tea party and I sure do think she's a pretty cute little homemaker!
This is what she said was on her menu:
Tea, Coffee, Lemonade, Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Milk, Milk, Warm Milk, and Donuts. Quite a selection if you ask me. Miss Spider was on the guest list.

~The Pledge of Allegiance~

I love that she pledges her allegiance to the flag of the United States of the American flag. I'm sure she is just clarifying to make sure you completely understand she's talking about the FLAG!

~Mighty Mighty Savior~

I have a mentioned several times before that Mighty Mighty Savior is one of Aylah's favorite songs that we must sing every night before she goes to bed. I finally got most of it on video...two seperate nights.

The Verse

The Chorus

Sin is too strong. For me to concur on my own. I need someone to help me. I am too weak. I cannot change my evil heart. I need someone to save me. I'm so glad You died and rose again. For helpless sinners like me.

What a mighty mighty Savior You are. What a mighty mighty Savior You are. You can wash away my sin, you can change my heart within. What a mighty mighty Savior You are.

~I am a Promise~

With a "capital P" or "catipal P"?

I am a promise

I am a possibility

I am a promise with a capital "P"

I am a great big bundle of potentiality

And I am learnin' to hear God's voice

And I am tryin' to make the right choice

I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.

~Melissa's Baby Shower~

A few pictures of Melly's baby shower. Sweet Gabriella will be joining us any day now!

I got this super cute idea from a shower I went to in Texas.

When the shower is over, they can take the pencil home with them. Everytime they see it, it reminds them to pray for the mommy and baby.

Hello food! You were delicious!

Mel was very excited to recieve dozens and I mean dozens of fantastic gifts!

Sweet Belle wanting me to hand her the camera.

Just getting ready to fall asleep in grandma's lap, right in the middle of the shower.

Grandma to be!

More family.

Friends.

~Splash Pad~

I know not every mother takes a picture of her child eating an apple. However, this was Aylah's first attempt at eating an apple without me slicing it. So, of course I must get it on record!

Our playgroup had a blast at the splash pad. Especially with a park right next door.

~Big Sister~

I just love this picture of Aylah holding all the pictures from our ultrasound when we found out it was a girl. She's such a proud big sister!

~My Favorite's~

I just couldn't decide between color and black and white, so you are blessed to see both!

Belle's absolute favorite thing to do...swing! I just love her little toes in this picture.
We love you so much Aylah. You are so fearfully and wonderfully made!
