~Dress Up~

Aylah has been playing dress up this week. It's always fun to use your imagination!

This was my sister Ashley's little lamb ballerina outfit when she was a little girl. My mom sent it to us a few months ago and this was the first time Aylah got it out. She is so proud to be a little lamb! I think she sure is a beautiful lamb!

Grace, your name truly states who you are!
You are such a beautiful sweet baby girl.
You are so content and happy ALL the time, unless you are hungry or have a wet/dirty diaper (you don't like to go a second with a wet diaper).
You have been smiling at everything for a long time now and have started making sweet giggles.
You talk to me every once in a while with the sweetest and softest coos.
You give your biggest smiles in the morning when mommy gets you out of your bassinet.
You love to lay in bed and giggle as your sister gives you kisses and talks to you every morning.
You love to watch your sister play, she always catches your eyes.
You love to snuggle with daddy late at night.
You are so loved by so many people, as soon as I walk in the door at church, I don't get you back until we go home.
You are starting to roll to your side, but you're not very fond of tummy time.
You are starting to be entertained by your toys on your playmat, bouncer and carseat.
You really like the bird on your playmat the most.
You're a great eater and have put yourself on a great schedule (most days) and usually give me a 5 then a 4 hour stretch each night.
We love you so much Grace. You are beautiful inside and out!

2 months old and growing...

~Bed Buddies~

Aylah got these adorable snowman sheets from Nanae and was so excited for Grace to come lay in bed with her on her new sheets.

I told Aylah to hang on so I could go get them camera and take a picture. As I was walking down the hall to get the camera, this is what I heard.

"Grace, you need to stay right there. Mommy is going to get the camera to take our picture okay? Okay? Stay there, she'll be right back. Okay Grace? Okay?"

~A Little Nap~

Grace is taking a little nap on her boppy.

She has starting paying attention to the little rain forest animals hanging around. I think she thinks they're funny, because she gives a little chuckle every once in awhile. After watching them swing around, she dozed off and took a little nap.

These precious little hands, I just love them!

~Winter Wonderfest~

I sure do like this huge christmas tree in the background. It's pretty neat!

But not as much as I love the people in the picture with me!

The Winter Wonderfest has this huge christmas tree chair, that Aylah had waited to sit in all day. We finally went right before we left.

~Chicago Life~

We spent the whole day at Winter Wonderfest in Chicago, but we couldn't head back home without visiting a few of our favorite places!

~Manicures~

Aylah wanted to paint daddy's nails the other night and he obliged.

She had gotten paint for Christmas and thought that it would be best to use, rather than actual nail polish. So if you look closely, you can see the paint and paint brush.

Then it was Aylah's turn, of course!

~Flipsters~

Aylah started gymnastics on Wednesday. She is going to Kokomo Flipsters and her teacher is Ms. Di (Diana).

Aylah has been super excited and has been counting down for a couple of weeks now. She was very excited to wear her leotard as well, which she's pretty cute in.

She did a fantastic job. She loved every minute of it and was completely all smiles the entire time. She was so proud and wore her leotard the rest of the day!

~Aylah's First Day of School~

We started school on Monday and Aylah was totally pumped. Her only disappointment was, she didn't get to ride the school bus.

You did a fabulous job on your fist day of school Aylah. You are so bright and you absolutely love to learn! We pray that you grow in wisdom each day. He has blessed you with an incredible mind and we pray that you will use it for His glory!
