Aylah has a cold :( So sad I know. We are going on 6 days now, so hopefully the worst is over. It is actually the first time she has been sick. I've learned a lot about babies when they aren't feeling well from this experience...
1. Babies sleep longer (take advantage)
2. Babies love to cuddle and spend time with their mommy
3. Those snot suckers are way to difficult to stick up the nose and suck snot out all while your child is screaming and shaking her head back and forth 90 miles an hour to aviod the awful thing.
Well...maybe I haven't learned a lot-but babies are definitely different when they're sick.
Although Aylah was sick-I couldn't go another day without cereal, so I had to get out and go to the grocery store. I left Aylah in her "boy" pajamas and she had snot running everywhere (not to mention all the snot stains on my shirt) and off we went. Would you believe that I got more compliments on how precious she is today than ever before! How is that possible? I mean, I know she is totally adorable-but all the times she's been dressed in pretty pink with beautiful matching bows, but today is the day for compliments. Too funny!
