~Grace is 2~

Sweet little Grace is 2 years old now.  This is absolutely one of my favorite stages.  I love waking up everyday to see what she is going to learn or to hear what new words she is going to say.  Grace is full of intensity in everything that she does.  There is nothing that is average, but full force, whether she is playing or just talking.  She is feisty.  She loves to run around the house and follow Aylah.  She repeats everything Aylah says and more.  She is starting to become a super love bug and snuggle.  Grace wakes up every morning and says, "I wake up now", followed immediately by, "I eat"!  We walk in to the kitchen where she sits on the counter while I get her juice and breakfast, which she usually requests waffles or pancakes.  We spend the morning playing with puzzles, reading books and she is starting to really like coloring.  She gets so excited when she makes a scribble.  She will show you her paper and say "You like it?!"  It's not long before she is asking to eat again, so we have a snack, play some more, eat lunch and then take a nap.  We've been running our errands in the afternoon lately and Grace has become a great shopper.  She loves riding in the car, shops well as long is there are cheese sticks and a bag of pretzels for her to snack on while we are shopping.  When we come home she plays with Aylah some more and then loves hiding for daddy to find her when he comes home from work.  Grace is really starting to love on Caleb and she always wants to see his face.  She bends down and gives him sweet kisses on his head and say "Hi Ca-lub".  She loves to sit on the counter and help me cook dinner, followed by bath time and then off to her bed, which is actually Aylah's bed.  Grace sleeps pretty well as long as she has her pacifier.  She doesn't like to sleep with blankets, just a pillow and maybe her baby depending on the night.  Then when the sun is shining in the morning, we get to start another beautiful day!
